Job description

As an ERP Consultant specialising in financial processes, you will be responsible for leading the ongoing implementation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP system within our finance organisation. Your primary focus will be on configuring and customising the ERP platform to meet our specific financial requirements, supporting a seamless integration with existing systems and processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyse business needs, design solutions, and oversee the deployment of the ERP system.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP from a financial perspective, including configuration, customisation, and testing.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of current financial processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.

• Collaborate with SME (Subject Matter Experts) across finance to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed implementation plans.

• Configure Microsoft Dynamics ERP modules to align with financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

• Customise workflows, dashboards, and reports to enhance visibility, control, and efficiency in financial operations.

• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption and utilisation of the ERP system.

• Work closely with the ERP Project Management team and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure data integrity and security.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet project milestones and deadlines.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in ERP systems, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
