Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Multiple opportunities across Caerphilly

About us: At Academics, we have built relationships with a number of schools throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. This will allow you to expand your knowledge and current experience within various environments, which typically lead to long-term/permanent placements!

We are currently recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for various schools, providing you with a chance to make a real impact in the lives of primary school pupils!

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing targeted support to students in their academic and personal development.
* Collaborating with teachers and other education staff to implement effective learning strategies tailored to each pupil.
* Assist in the creation and execution of engaging lesson plans
* Supporting students with additional needs or those who may display challenging behaviours
* Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assist with the preparation and organisation of learning materials
* Ensure pupils are engaged and remain on task

Qualifications and Skills needed:

* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Previous experience in a similar role/school environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for working with children and supporting their growth
* Knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding policies and procedures
