Job description
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to support and develop the Aztec Group’s Power Platform and Automation governance. Providing an overview of governance, day-to-day support and administration for the business, the ideal candidate will be able to quickly adapt to new solutions and evolving business processes and requirements.
As the Aztec Group’s technology strategy heads into a period of evolution and transformation, we are seeking a candidate with expertise in cloud technologies, including Microsoft’s full 365 offering, to enable Aztec to fully leverage its investment. Key responsibilities:
- Define and enforce the Power Platform governance policies and best practices, including data protection, security, backup, restore, disaster recovery, monitoring, auditing, licensing and capacity planning.
- Manage the power platform environments, including provisioning, configuration, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting and support.
- Provide best practice guidelines including written standard operating procedures for the use of Power Platform within the Aztec Environment
- Collaborate with the business stakeholders, IT teams and power platform developers to understand the business needs and translate them into power platform solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to the power platform developers on the power platform capabilities, features, limitations and best practices.
- Review and approve the power platform solutions developed by the power platform developers, ensuring they meet the business requirements and adhere to the governance policies and standards.
- Lead the testing, deployment and documentation of the power platform solutions, ensuring they are reliable, secure and scalable.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the power platform and related technologies.
Essential skills and expertise:
- Ability to assimilate information quickly, clearly identify key issues and present information concisely
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to design, develop and document solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, to include Canvas Power Apps, Model-driven Power Apps, Portal based Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience with Power Automate/Logic Apps Import and Integrate data using Power Automate & Logic Apps
- Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, Power App Connectors Azure Functions etc) design and implementation
- 3+ years hands-on experience with M365 technologies, including PowerApps development/consultancy and SharePoint Online
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with cloud-based API management tools, ideally Microsoft’s Azure API Management
- Experience of other non-Microsoft automation technologies would be advantageous
- Experience working on Business Process Automation initiatives
- Microsoft Certified in Power Platform would be advantageous
