Job description
We are looking for talented and motivated landscape professionals, to join one of the UK's leading Landscape Practices, and support their team to deliver an expanding portfolio of exciting new projects. The successful candidate will have a passion for context-led design, and experience of undertaking technically robust landscape and visual impact assessments. This will be underpinned by an understanding of key assessment methodologies, notably the third edition of Guidelines for Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment. You will have excellent written, presentation and communication skills to input to Design and Access Statements and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments, reports and supporting plans and illustrations. You’ll be keen to develop your skills even further, in both technical and professional areas, and will receive support and guidance from some of the UK’s leading practitioners. The number of years you have worked is less important to us than your proven ability in LVIA and your creative and collaborative approach to planning and design. Skills in GIS, and a broad understanding of the UK planning system are desirable but not essential.
