The Role & Responsibilities – Marketing Manager:
• Develop strategies and tactics to build our brand awareness and promote award participation.
• Deploy successful marketing campaigns and take lead in their implementation from ideation to execution.
• Implement marketing and email campaigns to drive qualified traffic to our channels and increase magazine digital readership.
• Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns.
• Oversee day-to-day management of social media campaigns and ensuring the up-keep of engaging content and brand consistency.
• Manage and monitor the marketing budget and allocate funds wisely
• Measure and report on the performance of marketing and social media and email campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
• Managing and strategizing social media campaigns and creating actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Monitor and report progress on all platforms by using analytical tools to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
Requirements – Marketing Manager:
• Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the attitude required to learn, adapt and build strategies in-line with our unique business model.
• Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns and SEO strategies.
• Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
• Key personality in the workplace and must be proactive in marketing meetings and present key contributions accordingly in your field.
