Why Action for Children?

Action for Children is one of the UK's largest children's charities. We believe that every child should have a safe and happy childhood. Last year, we helped more than 671,000 children and families across the UK. We work to ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting change to their lives.

At Action for Children, we pride ourselves in being collaborative and inclusive. Are you passionate about changing the lives of children and young people to give them the best possible future?

A bit about the role:

Warwickshire Disability is a registered Children's Home offering residential overnight short breaks for children and young people with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. Our extremely dedicated and professional staff team work in a sensitive and caring way to support disabled children to remain living with their families.

We are looking for an Outreach Worker to work in the community of the county Warwickshire, providing support and care to children in their own homes. The hours will be evenings and regular weekends so you will need to be flexible in your attitude to working hours.

You will assist families where there is a child with a physical and/or leaning disability to achieve a normal life pattern and reduce the isolation of the child or young person by enabling them to access and participate in local community services.

How you'll help to create brighter futures .

Let's talk about you.

If you want to make a real difference to the lives of disabled children and young people, why not apply to join our great team!

Good to know.

If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with the job description, we'd love you to apply anyway. You might just be the perfect person for this role, or another role within the Action for Children family.

Application Process: There are five sections to complete: Personal Details, CV, Supporting Statement & Information, Equality & Diversity, Submission & Declaration.

Interviews will take place in person at Warwickshire Disability in Kenilworth.

Please note: If we receive a high number of applications, we may close this advert earlier.
