Robert Half are working exclusively with one of our best clients to find a new Accounts Payable Assistant. This is a vital part of the finance function where you will be reporting directly into the Financial Director on a daily basis whilst you take ownership of the purchase ledger and provide some support for the sales ledger when needed. If you are a proven and experienced finance professional with a specific focus on the accounts payable function, then make sure you apply as quickly as possible as this process will be moving quickly.

The Role

In this Accounts Payable Assistant role you will be responsible for (But not limited to):

• Processing paper and e-invoices and credits onto our accounting system
• Arranging approval for payments
• Setting up and checking payment runs
• Dealing with telephone and email queries from suppliers and the wider business
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving reconciling items
• Filing and organising paperwork in a timely, efficient, and organised manner
• Using a computerised ledger system

The Company

Our client is a well-established business within the engineering sector, and they are currently looking to fill this crucial area of their finance function. This role will be based at the companies head offices near the Leatherhead, and the ideal candidate will be an experienced and proven Accounts Payable Assistant who is looking to take on a new exciting challenge as part of a tight-knit finance function.

Salary & Benefits

This Accounts Payable Assistant role will be offering up to £35,000 per annum DOE, as well as hybrid working, holiday, pension, private health-care, and further company benefits
