Technical Manager / Fresh Produce / Cambs £40-50k Are you passionate about driving quality excellence and leading teams? Are you looking for a Monday-to-Friday Technical Manager role? If so this is the role for you.
The role - Optimise manufacturing functions for enhanced efficiency.
- Improve quality and yield performance.
- Foster a high-performance workforce and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Champion cost reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation of technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Drive the Food Safety and Quality Culture plan across the site.
- Oversee the Quality Management system to ensure product excellence.
- Manage HACCP processes and maintain standards.
- Conduct audits of third-party suppliers, ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop continuous improvement projects.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer interactions and visits.
- Develop and lead internal audit systems to ensure quality and traceability.
- Coach and develop team members to promote growth and excellence.
- Monitor departmental performance and drive cost reductions.
Person Specification: - Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/Technical roles within Fresh Produce.
- Relevant qualifications including HACCP Level 3 and Internal Auditor.
- Proficient in computer literacy and communication skills.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Demonstrated behaviour aligned with company values and objectives.
