About Our Client

Our client is based in Fareham. Due to a very busy period, they are looking for additional support for their payroll. You will be expected to attend their office in a hybrid basis.

Job Description

As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:

• The end to end processing of a large payroll
• Processing payroll on a monthly basis
• Calculating: holiday pay, maternity pay, SMP, SPP, SSP as appropriate
• Adjusting payroll when necessary
• Payroll journals
• Analyse and produce payroll reports

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for the Payroll Officer role, you must:

• Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
• Be immediately available or on short notice
• Be able to work in a team
• Have a high attention to detail and accuracy
• Be able to use IT confidently
• Be able to multi task
