This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Mechanical team at a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy! The purpose of the role is to generate quality, accurate and detailed records of Building Services engineering project documentation, working within the requirements of the project BIM execution plan. This is a 6-month rolling contract position (inside IR35) and our client is looking to take on up to 3 people. This role will give you the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across multiple sectors including Rail, Life Science, Power, Aviation and more. Principal responsibilities: Responsible for the production of schematic, general arrangement and detailed drawings in Revit Responsible for carrying out clash detections of the Revit model and producing solutions to any clashes found. Ensure quality of delivery when producing or updating drawings to internal and/or customer standards. Review specialist subcontractors/suppliers production BIM models and drawings for compliance with design intent. Key skills/experience required: Experience in any of the following sectors: Rail, Life Science, Power, Nuclear, Aviation Experienced in producing 2D & 3D Mechanical Services design deliverables from concept through to fully co-ordinated detailed design Experience of clash detection/resolution process using both Navisworks and Revit. Knowledge of Cobie Data applicable to M&E drawings Qualifications: Must be willing and able to obtain security clearance Qualified in either Revit or related (desirable) Basic knowledge of the developing BIM Level 2 Delivery
