What you'll do

As a Finance Manager in the Technology division, your role will be to provide insightful analysis, commentary, and recommendations to stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions that improve the bottom line. You will partner with senior stakeholders to drive process and reporting improvements across the business area. This includes conducting ad hoc analysis, networking to resolve business problems, and developing and improving processes and reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing key controls and governance frameworks, building business cases for investments, supporting post-implementation reviews, and assisting the business in managing capital investment and Opex budgets. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to enhance performance through cost control, driving efficiency, and maximising return on investment. You will also interpret management reporting to provide invaluable insights to stakeholders, while ensuring timely and accurate outputs in collaboration with the Accounting team. As a team player, you will effectively manage the priorities and activities of your direct report, and as a professional with a strong finance background, you will possess the necessary skills in communication, commercial acumen, attention to detail, and financial modelling to excel in this role.

You are a professional with a strong accounting background and the ability to provide valuable insight, analysis, and commentary to stakeholders. Your expertise in financial control processes and commercial acumen enable you to drive excellent financial and commercial performance while maintaining strong financial controls. With your effective communication skills and experience in working with senior stakeholders, you are able to influence decisions and support the business in making informed choices that enhance performance through cost control, efficiency, and increased return on investment. As a self-motivated team player, you work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a changing context, demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and advanced Excel skills.
