Job description
The role involves community engagement and outreach work which includes:
• Identifying and working with hidden members of the Chinese speaking community from across Devon and Cornwall. • Liaising with local service providers and partners to raise awareness of the needs of the community. Promoting our charity’s services and our partners’ services to the community. • Work with other colleagues within the organisation to provide support for community service users. Ideally the applicant should be based in the counties of Devon and Cornwall but applicants from nearby counties will be considered. The ability to speak fluent English and one or more Chinese dialects (Mandarin/Cantonese) are essential; as is the ability to read and write both languages.
