Job description
Our client, founded in 1997, is an independently owned fully private practice offering high-quality general and cosmetic dentistry in Stafford. Due to exciting future expansion plans we are looking to welcome a new Dentist into our team to deliver private treatments. The practice is 3 surgeries at the moment but will expand to 4 in the next 1-2 years as we will build an extension with a new surgery. We are looking for someone who wants a long term commitment with increasing days as we build the new surgery. It is a modern practice with good equipment, including digital xrays, OPG and intraoral scanner. Our Principal is an award winning full BACD member specialising in digital cosmetic dentistry.
We offer Invisalign, implants, composite bonding,extensive restorative treatment and general dentistry. We have a hygienist and a therapist too. Most patients are on plan (Practice Plan) and some are fee per item.
We are looking for a part time Dentist for 2 days to start with (Monday, Wednesday and possible Fridays) with general dentistry and a special interest in fixed orthodontics or more complex implants. The list will build from some current patients and new patients too as we have constant flow of new patients. Experience of at least 5 years would be great, but we could consider a younger Dentist with the correct portfolio. The quality of work is essential and the future professional development is highly encouraged. The right candidate will be fully supported in their professional progression and will have freedom of using any materials and equipment in adequate limits.
Ideally we are looking for someone to start with us in the New Year or maybe sooner for the right person. What’s really important to us is finding the correct candidate as we are looking for someone long term and potentially increasing days as we build the new surgery.
The pay would be between 40-45% depending on experience and postgraduate qualifications. The plan patients are only paying for exams and hygiene, so the exams will be on a fixed rate, which will be negotiated accordingly.
