Job description
Due to the high demand for cover supervisors this year Academics are looking to grow number of cover supervisors for our client secondary schools in Ellesmere Port.

We are seeking am energetic, positive and proactive person to provide adhoc class cover in secondary schools in Ellesmere Port and the surrounding areas including the Wirral and Chester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a range of thriving, dynamic and supportive schools in the local area.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing class cover in the absence for the usual class teacher. This is a flexible/adhoc supply role. You will need to maintain a safe, engaging and calm learning environment. You’ll be covering lessons for teacher who are away from the classroom either on courses, in training or who are away due to sickness.
Working hours are 8:30am – 3:30pm
This is the perfect role for those who are thinking about a career in teaching or recently qualified teacher looking to gain more classroom based experience.
As a cover supervisor working with Academics you will:
* Have a flexible and adaptable approach – No 2 days are the same
* Be positive and have a pro-active, can-do attitude
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service (cost applied)
* Have control over the days you are able to work
