Salary: £143.80 per day.
Hours Per Week : 35.00.
Start Date : Mid April.
Start Time : 09:00.
End Time : 17:00.
Candidates submitted must have Tech IOSH or Nebosh Cert or equivalent as minimum
Key Accountabilities
To undertake investigations into incidents and accidents, producing written and statistical reports as required, and ensuring suitable risk reduction measures are implemented and that reporting requirements are complied with.
To undertake research analysis and benchmarking on a variety of H&S issues as directed by the Corporate Health and Safety Manager, communicating findings and recommendations within clear, coherent and concise reports.
To assist in analysing departmental H&S needs and to participate in in-house seminars and training courses where requested, providing training for staff and contractors as required.
To take responsibility. appropriate to the post for tackling racism and promoting good race, ethnic and community relations.
To carry out the duties of the post in accordance with the Data Protection and Health and Safety Act. Together with the Equal Opportunities policy. work actively to overcome discrimination on the grounds of race. gender, disability, sexual orientation. religion or status in the Councils service.
