Maintenance Operative required for an immediate start
Location: Cambridge
Length: 6 – 12 months temporary, ongoing
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri
Main responsibilities of the role:
• Main responsibility of the role is to perform general maintenance across a large commercial site to ensure business and usual service is provided
• Support a wide variety of maintenance jobs on a flexible basis covering fabric, plumbing, carpentry, redecoration, basic electrics, equipment repairs, furniture build and repair
• Carry out cleaning and testing to plant and equipment as well as regular preventative maintenance tasks
• Perform regular tests in line with technical guidelines and statutory requirements
• Use all relevant tools and equipment and undertake general maintenance tasks as appropriate
• Support the Management and Technical team to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with contract KPI’s including contractual response times
• Ensure that all works are carried out in line with Health & Safety regulations
• Use own initiative to carry out works required
• Adhere to policy, procedures and guidelines
Essential requirements:
• You will have experience working within a similar environment carrying out general maintenance and repairs
• Ability to start at short notice
