We are currently seeking an Air Freight Export Clerk to join us on a full-time permanent basis, predominantly working Monday – Friday from 09:00 – 17:00, working 35 hours per week. This role includes paid overtime and weekend call outs on a rota basis, as required. You will be based in Egham, TW20 9AB.

The position holder will organise export shipments in a busy airfreight environment. They will service a demanding and developing commercial client base with a high level of care, while working to company and industry standards and regulations.

The Role

As an Air Export Clerk, you will support our airfreight export services by ensuring all shipments undertake and complete their journeys successfully.

Overseeing the export process, you will complete Export Customs declarations, prepare Air Export documentation to regulatory standards along with all associated tasks in a start to finish role.

Ensuring we deliver our customers the best possible value, you will liaise with customers, negotiate carrier rates for specific shipments and create customer pricing on our software.

Additionally, you will ensure that all of our exports follow company policies and comply with all relevant industry regulations, including AVSEC, H&S and ISO.

About You

To be considered as an Air Export Clerk, you will need:

- Air export experience
- The ability to prioritise and organise workload
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ideally, you will have experience using Cargowise Software and ASM Sequoia to complete HMRC entries, but this is not essential as we will provide training.

AVSEC CO level qualification or higher would also be advantageous.
