Job description
Acorn by Synergie is looking for 3x enthusiastic Caterers to join hardworking teams within HMPS.
This is not your average catering job, it is a great chance to put your catering qualifications and skills into practice and make an impact far beyond the kitchen.
Full DBS Vetting will be required to be completed by any successful candidates.
Hours: 37.5 per week, will include hours outside of 7am-7pm and may include weekends.
Band / Pay: Band 3 - £30,902
Location: Wigan.
Job Details
As part of the HMPS catering team you will be working with fresh food and preparing large quantity of meals, while ensuring food safety and hygiene is always being followed. You'll be working in a professional industrial kitchen environment while overseeing workers and help them further their skills.
You will be required to cover all aspects of the kitchen, while following Health & Safety and keeping all work stations clean.

The holiday year runs from 1 March. If you work a non standard work pattern your leave entitlement may be expressed in either hours or days as appropriate. Leave entitlement is calculated on a pro-rata basis and you will be advised of your actual entitlement on appointment.
