Production Shift Manager

County Armagh

Salary £48,000

Vickerstock are working in partnership with an established high volume manufacturing company for the recruitment of a Production Shift Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will oversee the smooth running of the department making process improvements to improve outputs and increase efficiencies.

Your new role

• Manage your team of supervisors and operatives ensuring KPI's, scrap reduction and production efficiencies are achieved.
• Ensure all staff on shift are fully trained, identifying any skills gaps.
• Ensure production costs are controlled to meet output targets.
• Audit, monitor and report on manufacturing processes, advising on any amendments to planned schedules.
• Lead process improvement projects and roll out activities across the teams.
• Ensure that health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.

What you'll need

• 3 years' experience in a similar production management role
• Proven track record of managing production teams
• Good knowledge of process improvement and health and safety
