We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Estimator to join an established main contractor based in Portsmouth. The contractor undertakes projects across a range of sectors including commercial, leisure, residential, education and light industrial, typically valuing up to £8mil. Projects are predominantly competitively tendered and go on to be administered via JCT forms of contract.
As the business gets busier, they're now looking to bring an Assistant Estimator into their pre-construction team. As Assistant Estimator, you'll be required to work closely with the Estimator on a number of tenders, whilst gaining experience and knowledge so that eventually you will undertake your own tenders.
The successful Assistant Estimator will receive a salary of up to £35k. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business in a strong financial position with plenty of opportunity for progression.
