Salary: £22,457 - £23,453 FTE (£21,391 - £22,340 Pro Rata) SAT B
37 Hours Per Week
Permanent
Term Time + 5 Staff Development Days (39 weeks) + additional 4 Weeks
Due to the school’s expanding pupil numbers, we have a great opportunity for a caring, personable and compassionate individual to join our Pastoral Team. As part of our Pastoral Team responsible for the pupil welfare, you will work closely with the Head of Year and liaise with progress leaders, mentors, teachers, parents and support agencies. You will be expected to instil our standards and expectations in pupil behaviour/appearance and celebrate success and achievements.
It is a requirement of the role to be a qualified first aider and Designated Safeguarding Lead, training will be provided.
This is a highly rewarding and, at times challenging role, you will often be working with young people who are vulnerable and in need of support.
We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is well organised and can document clear records
Has strong administrative and technical skills
Relishes the challenge of working with young people
