Mobile Security Engineer
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, UK
Hybrid Policy: 3 days a week onsite and 2 days working from home if preferred
I am working with a leading global electronics manufacturer specializing in consumer and business electronics, including memory chips, digital media players, appliances, semiconductors, and integrated systems.
The team seeks a Security Certification Specialist to ensure mobile, IoT, and network device security certifications for global government customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Computing, Communications, or related field (equivalent industrial experience considered)
3-6 years' experience in Security Accreditation and Assurance
Expertise in developing accreditation strategies, security architecture, evaluation, and Threat and Risk assessment
Familiarity with device security attack vectors (e.g., Apps, Browser, connectivity, device management, networking, local storage)
Role and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with government agencies to meet global cybersecurity standards.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align product development with security requirements.
Familiarize with security platforms across sectors to facilitate adoption.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in mobile device and network security certification, with contacts in certification bodies
Knowledge of software design and development methodologies
Proficiency in C & C++ programming language (min. 3 years' experience) for code understanding and test development.
