SEN Teaching Assistant / Worthing / West Sussex

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Class Cover. Class Cover have been asked by an amazing SEN specific school in the Worthing area to recruit a Teaching assistant for years 5 to 11 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teaching staff to provide valuable classroom support and assistance to students.
- Offer one-on-one support and guidance to students with specific learning needs and challenges.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth for all students.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 weeks of prior experience working in a school setting.
- Genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their learning progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexibility and adaptability to excel in various educational settings.
Preferred (but not essential) qualifications and experience:
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Relevant qualifications or training related to Learning Support or SEN.
- Familiarity with various teaching strategies and educational interventions.
