The Priory Hospital – Altrincham is part of the Priory Group, a leading provider of specialist treatment in mental health. The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services. Altrincham priory has residential facilities for 56 patients; across three units: CAMHS Eating Disorder Unit, NHS Acute Ward, and a Private General Mental health/Addictions unit. We currently have a vacancy for a qualified Lead Occupational Therapist to work across each of the three units. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an established therapy service; working alongside an MDT consisting of Clinical Psychologists, Therapist, Dieticians and trainee therapists. The role holder will work as a member of the team to provide assessments and interventions for adults, and young people. The role holders responsibilities will include: working within the standards set out by the CQC, other regulators and evidence based practice, regularly reviewing and monitoring outcomes of assessments and the effects of treatment in line with goal based outcomes and the care programme approach, participating in service developments including service user feedback and contributing to the development of care pathways and other treatment protocols and to provide specialist supervision, training and consultation to colleagues. There is also opportunity for both individual and group intervention work.
