Shift Electrical Technician

Job description
The Shift Electrical Technician will work a hybrid 4 on 4 off (12 hour shifts starting at 6am and 6pm). During the summer holidays are to be taken during two planned 18 breaks, and in winter (the changeover is usually around October) the pattern moves to a 4 on 6 off pattern.
They will be responsible for:
- Providing electrical support to the manufacturing / process team.
- CMMS (computerised maintenance management systems)
- Following electrical PPM's and be able to fault find on 3 phase A.C. electrical systems, motors driving pumps, rolls, screens and fans.
- Fault finding on PLC's and using SCADA control systems to diagnose electrical issues. We have a number of D.C. machines on site, experience with maintaining D.C. motors is advantageous.
- While your main duties are for electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding, the ideal candidate will be a team player and be willing to be flexible and support the team on shifts as best suits his skill base.
