Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager is to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources activities at our Tier 1 automotive company. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing HR practices that support our company's goals and ensure compliance with government regulations. Your primary focus will be on staffing/recruiting, employee relations, health and safety, and training/development functions. This is a critical role that requires extensive knowledge of HR practices and procedures to foster a positive work environment and support our employees' growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and monitor all human resources activities, ensuring efficient and compliant administration.
- Oversee staffing and recruiting efforts to attract top talent in the industry.
- Foster positive employee relations and address any issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement new programs to enhance employee morale and engagement.
- Lead and manage HR projects to successful completion.
- Administer salary administration programs in alignment with company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee personnel records and emergency contact information.
- Establish and implement a management protocol for time and attendance tracking.
- Respond to inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
- Support managers and supervisors with employment and personnel needs.
- Be available for employee counseling as required.
- Promote and support the implementation of 5S, TPM, and Kaizen programs.
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and execute monthly plans in line with company objectives and metrics.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and development.
- Participate in Management Review/IATF meetings to contribute to strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Human Resources practices and procedures.
- Thorough understanding and adherence to federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage HR processes effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with employees.
- Demonstrated expertise in associate relations, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
- Previous experience in supervision is advantageous, but not required.
