Job Role: Inspection & Testing Electrical Technician
Location: Harrogate
Primary responsibilities:
Duties will include all aspects of electrical periodic inspection and testing and reporting on fixed wire electrical installations.
Manage and maintain an effective program for initial verifications and periodical inspection/testing of electrical infrastructure ranging from 415V to 110V. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, Electrical Distribution Panels, Building Lightning Protection systems, Substation Earthing, and Portable Appliance Testing.
Creation/management of maintenance activity requests, risk assessment and related safety documents, co-ordination with stakeholders for any disruption to work environments and regular reports to be generated and presented to the leadership team.
Other duties as assigned
Position is a Monday through Friday dayshift position with a rotational on call requirement.

Basic Job Requirements
City & Guilds / NVQ Electrically qualified
18th Edition IEE Regulations
City & Guilds 2391/2392 or 2394/2395 Electrical Testing, Inspection and Certification (or equivalent)
Gold Card Electrical Certificate
Solid verifiable, directly related work experience

Other responsibilities may include:
General electrical installation and maintenance related duties as required.
Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
