Job description

Our NHS client is currently seeking a motivational Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their fantastic rehabilitation team based within Dagenham, Essex. They are offering is available to start on 02.10.23, offering full-time hours per week with the placement due to end on 29.03.24.

The caseload consists of patients on early support discharge from hospital; commonly encountered conditions include falls, # NOF, rehab post deconditioning from acute, rehab post infection such as UTI, LRTI, COPD management, PD management. The trust takes a joint MDT approach – they are a large team consisting of nursing, RA, OT and PT. Applying therapists must have previous rehab Physiotherapy experience in acute or community setting.

To be considered for this role you must have:

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
• Completed the relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy
• Previous NHS experience in a similar rehabilitation setting
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to establish a rapport with patients
• Good time management
• Interest in anatomy and physiology
• Genuine concern for the health and wellbeing of service users
