Hays Education in Coventry works closely with a number of schools and nurseries in the Coventry and Warwickshire areas. We provide day to day and long-term cover on a full and part-time basis. Working with Hays allows you to have a work-life balance and access to many other benefits. Hays are currently working with a school in Coventry who are in need of a SEN TA Your new role
You will be required to support a child in year 1 on a 1:1 basis. This will involve following lesson plans set for the child, assisting the class teacher. Encouraging the child and promoting independence. This job will be on a 1:1 basis, but you may be expected to provide full class staff as and when needed. The child has social and emotional needs, therefore you will need to be nurturing and patient.
What you'll need to succeed
YOU MUST have experience working within an SEN School or a mainstream school supporting children with additional needs. You must be a confident, passionate and caring individual, with a lot of patience. As this is a 1:1 role, you must be able to build good rapports with children.
