Chadwick Nott have been instructed on a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Family Lawyer of around 8 + PQE to join a Tier 1 ranked Family team at an award-winning firm in the South West. Dependent on experience, this hire can be at either associate, senior associate or salaried partner level.


As part of this leading team, you will be an integral member of a well-established team acting for a variety of clients on a broad range of high quality matrimonial and financial remedy matters. You can expect to advise mid-high net worth clients on a wide range of financial issues to include but not limited to, the divorce process, matrimonial and non-matrimonial property, maintenance claims and pension division. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in high-net-worth family finance cases, often involving significant assets and more complex areas of matrimonial finance work such as significant business assets, complex company structures, international and more specialist and complex areas of matrimonial finance work.

Previous experience of supervising and mentoring is essential as you will be required to supervise junior team members as well as assisting the head of the Family team in managing the team's workload, financial performance and personal development of the team members.

The successful candidate must be driven and demonstrate a true passion for family law. You will be given responsibility from the onset so good case management skills and the ability to work autonomously is key. Excellent IT skills and communication skills (plus the ability to be versatile and empathic), with a strong attention to detail are also essential.
