Who is Chevron Traffic Management?

In simple terms, Chevron Traffic Management is the company that sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversions routes or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. This involves putting out road cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. Our work is visible all over the country. The next time you are out and about and see roadworks, have a look at the signage. It is possible that Chevron Traffic Management put them there.

It is, of course, much more complicated than that. It involves consulting, planning, designing, estimating and liaising with our suppliers and our customers to ensure that our schemes are fit for purpose. It also involves innovation and technology so we can improve safety and help our industry to reduce our carbon footprint.

About the role ofAccounts Receivable Administrator:

You'll be part of a thriving office and finance environment, working with the accounts receivable team.

We're looking for someone who is motivated, highly organized, and passionate about finance.

Working with a dedicated team your duties will include:

- Verification of invoice details against quotes and rate cards.

- Raising VAT compliant invoices and credit notes across the group for services provided to our clients.

- Creating and maintaining good relationships with our clients and providing excellent customer service when assisting with enquiries.

- Communicating with our clients to ensure invoices have been received and followed up regarding outstanding balances and overdue payments.

- Communicating with our clients on a professional level to resolve any invoice queries or disputes.

- Working with other departments across the group to resolve customer invoice discrepancies and queries.

- Monitoring and managing the aging report for accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts.

The Key Requirements for an Accounts Receivable Administrator:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Outstanding attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills

- Reliable/punctual as this is a time critical environment

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues

- Good organisational skills

Desirable:

- Previous experience of working in an accounts/ finance environment

- AAT Level 2 Qualification
