Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices.
Job Description
As the Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Product cost estimating, tracking, variance analysis including new product introduction process
- Inventory reconciliation, reporting and analysis, including provisioning and annual stock take
- Providing business partnering support to Operations function
- Reviewing and challenging overhead cost performance of Operations function
- Investment analysis for new products and significant capital projects
- Calculation of internal recovery rates and cost allocations
- Maintenance of intra-group transfer pricing regime
- Completion of month end processes, reporting of results and KPIs to parent company
- Completing other analysis and project work as required
The Successful Applicant
To be successful for the Finance Analyst position, you must:
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills
- Ability to interact cross functionally and build strong working relationships with Operational leaders
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing organisation
- 1-3 years' experience in a management/cost accounting role
- Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues based at other sites in the UK
- Willing to challenge existing processes and drive through changes where improvements can be found
