Job description
We are looking for a Senior Paid Search Executive to join our eCommerce Marketing team!
Paid Search is a major element of NEXT’s marketing activity, both here in the UK and internationally and we’re looking for an expert to join the team.
As a Senior Paid Search Executive you will report into the Digital Media Lead and will be responsible for developing and delivering our PPC/PLA activity, in order to maximise the profitable acquisition of new customers and generation of sales from existing customers via the channel.
With experience in managing large eCommerce campaigns, you will have great technical knowledge, be results oriented and able to work accurately at pace.You will work closely with our media agency and key search partners to deliver profitable performance campaigns.
Being able to analyse data is crucial to this role, so you must have an interest in data analysis and have strong mathematical skills, combined with a passion for online.
We can offer hybrid working, with part of the week working at Next Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire and part of the week working remotely (fully remote working not available).
About the role
- Working alongside key internal stakeholders you will plan, brief, execute and report on performance led search campaigns.
- Present key campaign findings/insight identified to internal stakeholders.
- Manage the reporting for your channel.
- Managing relationships with the media agency & key search partners.
- Work closely with the agency to conduct keyword research and analysis to identify valuable opportunities for campaign optimization and expansion.
- Work collaboratively with the search partners to explore new and innovative opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in paid search advertising.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing and Trading to ensure alignment and integration of paid search efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in search engine algorithms and ad platform policies to ensure compliance and maximize performance.
About you
- Strong experience of digital performance media channels, including at least 2 years in paid search
- Strong numeracy and excel skills
- Experience of planning and optimizing eCommerce campaigns across paid search channels
- Experience of managing search partners and/or agency relationships
- High attention to detail
- Logical – finds it easy to problem solve
- Collaborative and works well as part of a team
- Strong technical knowledge is essential. Knowledge of Google Ads / SA360 search platform and Looker Studio would be an advantage
