Job description
We are looking for a support worker for a 49 year old gentleman living in the Denton area of Tameside, who accesses his support through a Direct Payment.
The support would mostly be around accessing the community. He enjoys going to national trust sites, to parks and the gym. He would also require some support around aspects of his daily living and to attend appointments if required.
We are hoping to build a small team of PAs to work with him and we are looking for the following:
- 21 hours per week (7 hour days, roughly 9-4pm, 3 days per week). Even if you can only do some of these hours, please feel free to apply.
- These would need to be weekdays
- Experience in working with people with Acquired Brain Injuries would be preferable, but not essential.
- Car driver essential
Conditions:
- £12 per hour, however this can be further negotiated dependent on experience
- Pro rata annual leave
- Flexible working pattern
