BMW UK, National Sales Company, Farnborough - Sales Steering and Planning - 13 Month Placement (July 2024)
We are looking for a confident and eager to learn individual to join our Sales Steering and Planning team, responsible for steering, planning, and optimising BMW UK’s future and current sales results (volume & profit). We are also responsible for creating market, segment, and competitor forecasting to guide BMW UK's volume aspirations. Our role relies on a close working relationship with Sales Channel owners, Finance, and Marketing to identify opportunities and risks, using a data-driven approach to steer volume, product, channel, and discount levels.
What will you be doing?
· Taking responsibility for our weekly forecast process by collating data supplied by Channel Owners.
· Creating monthly sales steering reports including competitor forecasts and run-rate reports.
· Partner the Production Planning and Ordering team to provide support during peak periods in the month.
· Partner the Channel Planning Manager, supporting in tasks such as availability planning and technical hold reporting.
