Hampton's are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Clients specialised care home situated in the picturesque surroundings of Derby. The company is committed to providing exceptional care to individuals with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Complex Challenging Behaviour (EBD). This home is brand-new with the expectation of opening in October 2024!

The home is a large, three story, 6 bedded property currently undergoing the renovation process. Boasting private therapeutic scenery, a basement, a beautiful conservatory and spacious rooms, this home is full of history and the perfect environment to support therapeutic services.

The grounds will be landscaped to support the services provided along with plans to incorporate an Avery. This incredible project will show case the commitment our client has to achieve the best possible outcomes for the Children in their care with a therapeutic approach.

Role Overview:

As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in Leading and managing the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to the Children and young people. Your leadership will drive our commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for children within their care.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• To provide leadership and management of the home.
• To deputise as manager in RM absence
• To provide on call support
• To maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, incl. The Quality Standards, Every Child Matters, the Children Act, other relevant legislation and guidance and company policy and procedure.
• To support the manage to manage the home to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of young people.
• To support the manager to manage the home's staff team.
• To support to manage a quality service aiming to achieve a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
• To represent the home to outside agencies and ensure compliance with the statutory requirements imposed by them and requirements of commissioners.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified - You must hold a Diploma Level 3 in diploma for residential childcare or equivalent (Essential)
• Good knowledge of people management practices
• Excellent communication
• Flexible and hardworking
• Confident team player
• Driving Licence
