Job description
Ideal Lifts Ltd. are looking for a local apprentice to train as a Business Administrator.
The apprentice will be working at our head office in Okehampton, full-time.
The course will be delivered by Train’d Up via a blended learning approach incorporating face-to-face work-based assessment and learning support sessions, along with timetabled tutor led live e-tutorials throughout the 18-month programme completing a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration.
Laptops loaded with all the necessary software packages are available free of charge to all Apprentices on a loan basis, ensuring access for everyone to the full curriculum.
Entry requirements for the course are:
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
As a Business Administrator, you will:
Provide business administration support to our business development, project management and operational departments
Facilitate office organisation and communication by performing administrative duties and acting as a first point of contact
Completing a range of cloud-based processes using the company CRM system, client and supplier portals, and 3rd party applications
Organise & attend customer meetings, taking notes and following up on actions
Become conversant and competent with the current IT platforms including the CRM and ERP systems
Work within the companies’ policies & procedures at all times
As an apprentice, you’ll get:

Working hours:
• Working days (Mon – Fri)
• Times (8.30hrs – 17.30hrs): Hours worked shall be between these times. We can be flexible on start/finish times if the apprentice relies on public transport
• Paid hours per week (between 35 to 37.5 hours): Depending on times worked
