Location: Hybrid (3 days in the office)
We are looking for a creative and strategic social media manager to join our team to support our digital products and games with a focus to support our growing digital gaming platform Game.City. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X to increase brand awareness, drive user engagement, and support our growth.
You are joining at the very beginning of our platforms journey, so have the opportunity to shape the strategy and creative direction from the get-go. To start you will be a social media team of one, so need to be resourceful, scrappy, creative, whilst you set strategy, produce, source and edit content.
This role is perfect for an ambitious self-starter who is ready to take the leap and lead the charge when it comes to all things social.
Responsibilities:
Set up and manage our company's social media accounts across the relevant multiple platforms.
Create engaging text, image and video content tailored for each platform. At the same time have experience creating and editing video, with subtitles to be used by our performance advertising team.
Develop and execute social media campaigns and promotions to grow our audience
Develop and implement an influencer out-reach programme with both micro and macro influencers.
Develop and implement a UGC programme to ensure we have plenty of content we can share and reuse in paid marketing.
Track KPIs and analyze platform analytics to gain insights and adjust strategy
Monitor social conversations and respond appropriately to increase user engagement
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends and technologies
Be able to work autonomously, but also be happy to be an important part of a team collaborating with the founders, product development team, customer service and CRM team.
Set goals and report against them measuring social media performance across channels.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience managing social media accounts for a brand.
- Strong creative skills with the ability to adapt to the requirements of each platform
- Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms and trends
- Skill in creating visually appealing graphics and videos
- Data-driven mindset with ability to derive insights from analytics
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Creative thinker able to come up with innovative growth strategies
