SAP Automation Tester – Worksoft / TOSCA / UFT

Location: Macclesfield (40% remote)

Contract: Permanent, Full-time.

About the Role:

Join Bodycote’s global implementation of S4 HANA, a large-scale program spanning 23 countries and over 160 locations worldwide. At the core of our roll-out is our ability to deliver a fully tested solution and we will be deploying Worksoft as our test automation tool. To achieve the highest professional standards we are looking to recruit experienced SAP testers – ideally with knowledge of Worksoft / Tosca or UTF tools.

Reporting to the Test Manager but working closely with the project SMEs the tester will assist primarily with the automation of the existing manual test suite as well as supporting UAT, regression, and BAU testing. The role will also support the project plan: meeting required project timescales, and quality and cost targets. The role holder will work collaboratively with the project team and end users providing clear guidance on the use of automation in support of the project deliverables. You will use your expertise to benefit the business in achieving a successful rollout of SAP S/4 HANA and supporting the technical landscape

Responsibilities:

• Learn tools necessary for successful execution and defect analysis;
• Leverage the client’s knowledge of business processes;
• Support business users during user acceptance testing;
• Planning for project-related automated test cycles;
• Perform test execution;
• Consistently provide high-quality analysis of assigned work items;
• Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality and completed on time;
• Support testing for production issues;
• Contribute to work estimates as necessary;
• Share knowledge with other testers;
• Seek and share ways to improve test processes;

Requirements:

• SAP automated testing knowledge – ideally with tools Worksoft ú Tosca /UFT
• Ability to Multitask and meet critical deadlines;
• Expertise in planning, designing, and execution of complex testing solutions including Functional, Regression, and End to End testing;
• Effective communication with Project Managers, Test Leads, System Analysts, Developers and Business Analysts.
• A capable team player with the ability to quickly establish trust and credibility
• Strong System analysis and problem-solving skills
• High level of customer focus and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
