Office Manager – Construction Sales
Monday to Friday. 8.30am – 5pm.
My Stockport based client , a specialist within their construction industry niche, are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Office Manager to join their small office team.
You will:
- Ideally have experience of working in a managerial, administration role within a construction company.
- Be a strong individual with an outgoing character to grow an established team.
- Have the confidence to make decisions and influence people.
- Possess excellent administration, IT and communication skills both written and verbally.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Highly organised, excellent time management with skills in setting priorities and managing work pressures.
- Ability to manage whilst learning.
Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day office activities
- Liaising with admin team, sales team, project teams, senior management and directors
- The day-to-day management of administration / procedures / database systems and ensuring they are maintained to the required standards.
- Proactively work towards the growth and development of the admin/ops team, admin processes, workflows and streamline to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate and support all the teams where required.
- Forming team training matrix and maintain up to date records.
- Assisting the company’s HR profile – keeping details up to date, managing holidays, absences, return to works, new starters.
- Customer care and being able to efficiently deal with enquires, questions or complaints.
- Issuing Purchase Orders and Invoices. QuickBooks.
- Assisting with operations and maintenance reports.
- Issuing and dealing with confidential documents.
- Ensure compliance of the Health and Safety and Statutory regulations.
- Implementing, scheduling and maintaining – policies / procedures / insurances / certifications bodies / quality management systems
- Ensuring payment terms are met, renewals and retention rates are looked after, expiry dates are in the calendar.
- Liaising with service and solution suppliers.
- Recording minutes from internal meetings and ensure action tracker is updated and maintained.
