Teaching Assistant with Midday Assistant duties

Salary Grade:

· TA - Scale 3, points 5 to 6, £23,500 to £23,893 FTE

(actual salary £13,581.41 to £13,808.54 per annum)

· MDA - Scale 1, point 3, £22,737 FTE

(actual salary £1,314.05 per annum)

· TA Hours of Post: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday

· MDA Hours of Post: 2.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only

Start Date: As soon as possible

Rose Hill Primary School is a large inclusive primary school serving the community of Marple. We welcome applications from excellent, innovative practitioners who wish to work in our friendly, caring and successful school.

We are seeking to appoint a committed teaching assistant to join our team. This will involve supporting the teachers in the classroom and supporting children with their learning. Knowledge of a range of primary based practise will be an advantage.  This role will also involve thirty minutes Midday duty per day. This Teaching Assistant position will initially be in Early Years.

• to have a sound knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, especially mathematics, grammar, spelling and punctuation
