Job description

Foaling Manager position at one of the UK’s leading sport horse stud farms providing AI, Embryo Transfer and Foalings. We average 100 Foalings per season.

We are looking for a hardworking and motivational person to manage the foaling unit. Candidates must have previous foaling experience, be organised, tidy and work well under pressure. It is essential to be calm and confident around foals and able to cope with any situation that arises.

You will be required to carry out all yard duties supporting the Stud Manager and her team. The foaling unit has CCTV, foaling alert system and the support of the stud’s on site resident vets.

The position is full time and comes with accommodation adjacent to the foaling unit.

Requirements

The ideal candidates will already be experienced in stud work as well as foaling.
