SENIOR REGULATORY ANALYST (CAPITAL REPORTING)

WELLINGBOROUGH

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Analyst to join our team. As the Senior Regulatory Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in producing the Bank's Regulatory Capital reporting while also supporting the team in developing the Bank's Regulatory infrastructure, governance, controls, and documentation.

Working within the strict guidelines set by the PRA and other financial authorities, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise by ensuring that all regulatory processes are carried out in accordance with these parameters. Moreover, you will actively drive innovation by analysing, reconciling, and challenging the data, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement of our regulatory compliance efforts.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

Regulatory reporting

• Work within a small team preparing monthly and quarterly regulatory returns for review and submission to the Regulator by the Head of Regulatory Reporting.
• View regulatory infrastructure, improving the control and governance with regards to regulatory requirements and data management / accuracy.
• Manage Key stakeholders, including the Bank’s Asset Finance subsidiary to ensure data provided is fit to meet the Banks’ regulatory requirements and build process flow efficiencies.
• Responsibility for continuous process review and improvement.

Analysis

• Prepare forward looking statements highlighting changes to reporting required by the Regulator and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Prudential Risk to identify emerging trends including stress testing modelling and results.
• Provide support in the preparation of the Group’s annual ICAAP assessment, as well as production of regular management information on the Group’s capital adequacy, capital risk appetite and early warning triggers reporting.

• Provide support for corporate projects impacting the current and future Regulatory reporting framework to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Leverage technology stack to create efficiencies in the data flow, and reporting, focus on removing the duplication within Finance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You will have an excellent understanding of the regulatory reporting landscape, particularly with respect to Capital Reporting. We are looking for you to have at least 5+ years’ experience within this field having gained that working within the financial sector.

We are also looking for an individual with an ability to work to deadlines, good data management and manipulation capabilities (Excel skills), and an ability to solve problems and provide impact analysis required.
