Your new role
The finance team require some temporary part-time sales ledger cover (approx 20-25 hours per week)
Your duties will include:
- Raise and distribute sales/income invoices and credit notes for customers.
- Produce VAT invoices.
- Processing and allocation of receipts/expenses.
- Statement/Bank reconciliation.
- Query resolution, ensuring that customer queries are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner.
- Post journals
- Financial reporting
- General administration - ensuring the smooth running of finance
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have good knowledge and experience of transactional finance within sales ledger/Receivables. You will be able to hit the ground running and help assist the team from the get go. Good systems knowledge would be desirable, and good knowledge of MS Excel. You will be able to follow company processes and ensure that procedures are carried out with set deadlines. If you have an AAT qualification or are working towards one, that would be a bonus.
