Robert Half are working exclusively with one of our best clients to find a new Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant. This is a vital part of the finance function where you will be reporting directly into the Accounts Payable Manager on a daily basis. The Role

In this Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant role you will be responsible for (But not limited to):

• Process Accounts Payable transactions in a timely manner to ensure ledgers are accurate and up to date
• Deal with Supplier and colleagues' queries by phone, email or in person in a helpful, supportive and proactive manner
• Undertake ad hoc duties and reporting as required
• Build strong relationships with other departments within the business
• Ensure that purchase orders are raised, goods are receipted, and that best practice is being followed and the purchasing policy is adhered to by the purchasing departments
• Match and process invoices on to the purchase ledger
• Deal with supplier queries; assist with the set up new suppliers and action any changes to standing data including bank details
• Administer the weekly payment run for authorisation, including GBP and foreign payments, when required
• Assist with trouble shooting system issues within Focal Point
• Reconcile supplier statements

The Company

Our client is one of the leaders of the the Education and Training sector, and they are currently looking to fill this crucial area of their finance function. This role will be based at the companies head offices near the Cobham area, and the ideal candidate will be an experienced and proven Accounts Payable Assistant who is able to step into this role and hit the ground running.

Salary & Benefits

This Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant role will be offering between up to £28,000 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent), as well as holiday, pension, and further company benefits
