Job description
Purpose of role
To establish and implement policy, process, and practices to ensure all enrolled students who are multilingual learners acquiring English as an additional language are supported to access the curriculum appropriately.
To lead and mentor EAL teacher colleagues to empower them to support all multilingual learners effectively.
To give support and training to homeroom and subject teachers to ensure a whole school approach to teaching multilingual learners.
To assist school leadership in developing long-terms strategies related to admissions and ongoing identification and assessment of language learner needs across the school.
