Job description

The role is split between our two preschools (5 minute walk from each other) You will work two days in each setting and have a day for paperwork.

Days/Hours:

• 8:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday, 48 weeks of the year.

Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour which equates to £24570 (depending on age/experience/qualification)

Purpose of post:

• Support the aims and objectives of the preschool and assist the lead teacher in the
• Organisation of high-quality provision for children from two to five years who have additional needs
• Ensure all children in preschool have all the same life chances, are able to meet their
• Own potential and have equality of opportunities in their learning, development and care
• Maintain high standards of care and early learning – including monitoring and reviewing provision
• Provide support to the team in meeting children’s additional needs and all aspects of inclusive practice work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop

Role Requirements

• Qualification in Childcare
• Nursery Experience
• SEN Experience beneficial
• Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities
• Must be able to provide current/recent references.
