Job description
We are looking for a full-time live-in nanny to join our young happy family in Wiltshire. We live on a working farm in the countryside.
We have a 5 year old girl, 3.5 year old boy and a 1.5 year old girl. 5 year old goes to school (8am-5pm) during term time and our 3.5 year old will join her in September 2024.
Key responsibilities include:
• Getting 5YO ready for school, organising school bag, uniform etc.
• Looking after and entertaining 3.5YO and 1.5YO during the day, spending as much time outside as possible, we have a large garden with lots of outside toys.
• Doing children's washing, laundry, and keeping their kitchen, bedrooms, and playroom tidy (we have separate cleaner)
• Preparing and cooking all meals for the children and taking delivery of the weekly online shop
• Babysitting 2 nights a week (normally week nights when Mother is away with work)
• Occasional help on weekends (given days off in lieu).
• Typical hours will be Monday to Friday from 8am – 6pm, with some time off during the day when the children are napping, both 3.5YO and 1.5YO still nap
• This is a live-in role. A large double bedroom with comfy chair, desk space and own private bathroom is provided. All bills paid for including wi-fi and food is provided from kitchen / fridge.
• We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, loving, trustworthy and tidy who would like to be part of our young family. We live on a working farm so someone who loves to spend time outside.
• Pay: gross salary of ~£25k p.a. depending on experience. 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
As we live in a fairly remote part of countryside, a driving licence is required to get around as there are limited public transport links. We also have a lively dog and other farmyard animals so you must be comfortable around animals
Must be able to provide a recent reference.
Start date 1st April, or sooner. We can be flexible for the right candidate.
