Job description

We currently have available a great opportunity for a conveyancing solicitor within our conveyancing department at our London Wall Office.

We are a vibrant, ambitious team who pride ourselves on the provision of a personal service to our clients in an efficient and effective manner.

You would be responsible for your own caseload (under the supervision of the Head of Conveyancing), and would be expected to manage all legal matters involved in sale and purchase transactions.

The Position 

• Dealing with residential conveyancing matters
• Resolving client queries as and when they arise
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to deliver the firms values.
• Knowledge of commercial conveyancing is a bonus
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
• Organize and maintain legal files and documents
• Able to take on remortgage cases
• Undertake transfers of equity
• take on new built purchase cases
• the ability to run freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from onboarding date to post completion without supervision.

The Person

• Experienced in handling residential conveyancing caseload
• A good communicator understanding and empathising with the clients’ requirements

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
• Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We would like an admitted soilicitor with a practicing certificate. NQE is also Eligible.

Knowledge of Commercial Property Conveyancing is a bonus.
