I am working with a Tier 2, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in the vibrant Tamworth area. The practice is part of a UK-leading group, but it is run independently. You will be working from their recently refurbished practice, which is built to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including ultrasound, dental and digital x-ray. They enjoy a varied caseload and have a great reputation locally and further afield, with their client base continuing to grow.
You will have the support of 4 other Vets, 6 Nurses and 3 receptionists and 2 practice managers who will help you to develop your skills. CPD is encouraged and funded. They are looking for a Vet to join full time, 40 hours per week, with a 1 in 3 weekend rota, and no OOHs.
You will need to be a proactive veterinary surgeon with exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will have good surgical and medical skills, as well as being able to provide consultation services for clients and their pets. You should have a genuine enthusiasm for your role and for animal welfare, and be ready to contribute and fit in with a forward-thinking team. You will be comfortable with sole charge and enjoy the fast pace of the practice.
The practice is ideally located in Tamworth just 15 miles north from Birmingham, making for a good commute from local areas such as Cannock, Lichfield and Burton Upon Trent, with the M6 also not too far.
